The Tailor of Gloucester, in an adaptation by Alison Sandford Mackenzie, has entertained hundreds of children and their parents since the world premiere in December 2015. Working with Pericles Work, Training and Therapy and their wonderful Pericles Theatre we have taken The Tailor of Gloucester to the Brighton Fringe; Ringwood Camphill Community; Forest Row Village Hall; the Forest Row Festival; Partridge Green Village Hall; a private music festival in Sussex; the inaugural Chiddingstone Literary Festival; and future performances are scheduled for Stroud (January 2017).
"Thank you, you made our Sunday" family of four, audience, 25 September 2016
We are especially grateful to the students and staff of Pericles Work, Training and Therapy for prop making, and to the Ashdown Pantomimers for help with costumes.
